blog?

I refuse to mention again how lazy I am about this blog and how I am going to get better at it, blah blah blah. Anyways, wow, last post was before NYC! Let me chat a bit about that trip...Greatest city in the world, it all makes sense now. Everything that is great, all smashed and pressed together on one tiny island. The food, the sites, the sounds, the smells, the people, amazing. A short list of my favorite things:

Central Park
Brooklyn Bridge
Dizzy's Jazz Club
Serendipity
Top of the Rock
Yankee Game
Phantom of the Opera
Tavern on the Green/Handsome Cab Ride
Walking everywhere!
The Subway
NY style Pizza
Natural History Museum
Ed Sullivan Theatre/Dave Letterman

That is the shortest of lists I have made about the ridiculous amount of things that we did there! If there were one place I would leave California for, it would be New York, I love you...After New York I traveled to Florida for a week for work. I was in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando. Busy trip indeed. In November we got together with some friends for a trip out to Vegas for Staci's birthday. Hofbrauhaus, bingo and Let It Ride are a few highlights of that trip...

Now its time for the Holidays! This weekend we get our tree, enjoy some festivities in San Juan and refine our Christmas lists...Oh and I
really want to see Wes Anderson's latest at some point...

just chattin

So I realized after going back and reading some of my older entries that I have not really lived up to this thing. I like doing it, I just want it to remain interesting and relevant, so I will do my best. Sooooo....the life, times, happenings, and everythings of me, Josh Smiley continue. What's new? Still loving being a newlywed with my hot wife, you know who you are girl...I just took a break from writing this to spar with my colleagues, I was wielding a mouse, Tom had a power cord and Drew had a phone hand set, it was like "beat it" 2009...Lately I have had a major travel itch, and I need to be scratched, we're looking to have something planned towards the latter half of the year, can't freakin wait...I was lucky enough to go to Honolulu in February for work, opening up a new store, although I did literally work from sun-up to sun-down everyday I was there and did not step foot on the beach once, shame...Watched Vicky Christina Barcelona last weekend, funny, entertaining and a bit mediocre, oh well, next time Woody...This weekend calls for an open night on Friday, garment district saturday morning, Ed Paul Sr. birthday saturday evening, Charlies Birthday in the wee hours of Saturday and my little sisters (22) birthday on Sunday. Ya, its not a slow weekend...

Cheers
